Want a presonal custom news programme?
At Yabot we are constantly exploring new ways of publishing and consuming news. One idea we've tossed around is to setup custom audio and/or video podcasts for Yabot users. What about having a daily news programme only presenting stories that you are interested in? Pretty cool huh? But quite expensive and would take lot of resources to accomplish.
Till we've been able to get further with that idea I'd like to present you with an iPhone application I stumbled upon the other day - FeedOrator.
This $0.99 application will retrieve RSS feeds to your iPhone or iPod touch and read it out loud to you. From my first tests it seems to do the job quite well even if there are some odd behaviours I hope they rid in the next update. Works well with Yabot, both the general and personal feeds. Only in English though. Having FeedOrator read other languages is humorous but not very useful...
